Sippin’‌ ‌on‌ ‌Winter:‌ ‌Winter‌ ‌Drinks‌

Winter is coming our way and it’s time to look at all the coffees and drinks this season has to offer. There are three main locations, coffee lovers at Ripon High and in the area may go to enjoy the drink of their choice. With places such as Starbucks, Ripon Coffee House, and Dutch Bros there are many options to choose from on this year’s holiday menu.

All three of these places have already come out with their holiday menus and what they have to bring to the table this winter season. Starbucks has many options to choose from, many may enjoy the Peppermint Mocha, the New Iced Sugar Cookie Almond milk Latte, the Irish Cream Cold Brew, the Caramel Brulee Latte, and the Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. Dutch Bros has drinks such as the Peppermint Bliss Cold Brew, Hazelnut Truffle Mocha and the Glacier Peak Rebel. For a more homemade feel for a drink you can go to Ripon Coffee House to enjoy drinks such as the Snow Storm, The Grinch, the Nutcracker, and the Muddy Polar Bear.

I’d probably say a drink I would want to try this holiday season would be the Dark Mocha Frap with raspberry syrup from Starbucks.

A coffee is never enough when you can also enjoy a pastry from your choice at any coffee place. Unfortunately there are no holiday options of a pastry for Dutch Bros and Ripon Coffee House but there are many delicious pastries you can try at Starbucks. At Starbucks there are pastries such as Frosted Snowman Cookie, the Gingerbread Loaf, and the Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop.

“This season I definitely want to try the Winter Frost Chai or the Holly Jolly from Ripon Coffee House,” said Jocelyn Gonzalez, junior.

Many may argue that the winter season is the best season to try new drinks and pastries. This season there are various things to choose from and enjoy along with friends and family.
