Maybe movies are not your thing, but perhaps fashion is. It is alright to be honest and admit that you have followed a few of these trends, it is only normal to want to fit in, just please realize the fashion ‘yeses’ versus the fashion ‘no-no’s.’ In case you are blind to the fashion ‘no-no’s,’ I have taken the liberty of labeling those ones.

~scrunchies —YES—

~sports wear—YES—

~saggy pants —NO-NO—

~holey jeans—YES—

~checkerboard vans—YES—

~oversized hoodies—YES—

~baseball caps—YES—

~fjallraven kanken backpacks—YES—

~yoga pants—YES—

Okay, maybe that was a tad passive-aggressive to you or maybe just aggressive-aggressive, but let me explain myself. No one wants to see what color of underwear you are wearing underneath your two-sizes too big sagging pants. The truth hurts. I’m not sorry.

Perhaps even the most fashionable of outfits are not your thing either. Or maybe they are. Even if not, do not fret, a lot of big things happened in the makeup world as well.

~James Charles’ Morphe palette dropped and sold out in less than ten minutes

~Colleen Ballinger aka Miranda Sings dropped two lipsticks

~All the Holiday palettes

~All of the DIY Halloween looks

~More brands have become animal-testing free and vegan

On a completely unrelated note, there were also definitely a few big things that happened in the tech world, and do NOT act like you have no idea what they are. There were way too many memes and discussions about one of them. And if you have them, you know who you are and you are part of the problem. (I’m kidding, I actually think they are pretty cool).

~iPhone X was announced, then discontinued, then the XS/XR/XS MAX were announced soon after

~AirPods

~Several Samsung Galaxy models were dropped

I’ll let you in on a little secret, I was talking about the AirPods. 🙂

Who doesn’t love a good laugh every once in while? Whether or not you get it from your friends, family, the explore-page of instagram, or YouTube, the important part is that you are able to laugh at someone else’s misfortunate picture paired with a few words and say, “me,” or, “same.” It helps to relate yourself to something funny when you are down. And Vines and memes allow you to do just that. Down below are seventeen memes that single-handedly defined your 2018. (Probably).

~”If you don’t love me at my worst, then you don’t deserve me at my best.”

~That whole Tide Pod Fiasco

~”Is this a pigeon”

~Marvel: ‘Infinity War is the most ambitious crossover event in history.’

~”I don’t feel so good”

~Change My Mind

~Thank U, Next

~I Just Wanted To Take Another Look at You

~Surprised Pikachu

~Baby Cardi B

~Evil Patrick

~Moth Lamp

~”Let’s Get This Bread”

~Rapper’s Real Names

~Young Thug and Lil Durk at the Computer

~Gym Kardashian

~Miley Cyrus with AirPods & James Charles’ Morphe Palette meme

If you think that Vines weren’t still a thing in 2018, is your name Patrick Star? Because you have been living under a rock for the past 12 months. I think it’s safe to say that Vine compilations blew up in 2018 so much so that you would find even yourself quoting some of the best. Linked down below are a few clean Vine comps that can brighten up even the worst days.

~Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra-This broke a lot of young girl’s hearts who used to watch Camp Rock and The Jonas Brothers religiously.
