She Cheers, He Cheers, We All Cheer For Guy Cheer

Homecoming is an event filled with many festivities enjoyed by high schoolers all across America. This fall celebration is often accompanied by the sport of powder puff. Powder puff, where the football field is flooded with young women and our boys squeeze themselves into leggings for the halftime show.

This year, guy cheer was organized by ASB’s Sports Commissioners, Donny Fontillas and Taylor Werner. Fontillas participated in creating the guy cheer choreography and performed with the guy cheer team. The boys have two performances, the first at the homecoming rally on October 4th and then once again at the Powder Puff game on October 8th.

The effort and hard work put into the guy cheer production was evident in their performance and overall left the crowd very impressed. Isaiah Thompson, guy cheer member stated the following, “I think we did the best we could with what we had, I want to encourage more guys to come out next year to make it so much better.”
