An Artsy, Adventurous, Ambitious Ashley | One Tribe

Ashley LePage is currently a junior at Ripon High. Most may know her as the student who has illustrated a book and is currently illustrating another, but her life consists of much more than that.

She has two brothers who she has to get to and from school almost everyday and two parents who work hard to provide for their family. They also have 3 dogs, two cats, and previously other animals.

Her family has an RV which they have taken many places. They have taken road trips to Washington and New Mexico. They also have relatives in Hawaii and have traveled there four times now and plan to go back in November.

“I’m excited to see my family again and drink pineapple smoothies,” she states.

The last time she was in Hawaii she spent most mornings walking across the beach to grab a smoothie for breakfast. Sometimes, one of her brothers joined her in the adventure.

LePage has a Nintendo Switch and she loves to play Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Diablo 3 in her free time. She also has an admitted addiction to Tetris.

”Tetris is very peaceful and the music is very annoying, but that’s okay because it makes your brain feel numb,” LePage laughed.

LePage has been balancing art and school for years. Between free time with art and her illustration job, while keeping her grades up, life can get a bit much.

“I think finding a balance between my work and my hobbies took a long time to figure out, but I’m glad that I have balanced it out because it makes my life easier,” LePage says.

LePage is excited for her final year in high school. She plans to go to more sports games and enjoy link crew for her final year.

“I want to spend more quality time with friends since it is going to be the last year we all get to be together,” she says sadly.
