This year’s Back to School dance at our very own Ripon High School was a well planned and wonderful opportunity for students to get out of their comfort zone. Although the dress code still applied to the outfits, everyone found a way to spruce up their outfits to fit this year’s theme, neon. Many people wore construction worker vests and neon paint splattered across their legs and arms.

Charlotte Bitle, a freshmen at Ripon High School, says, “School dances are important because it gives students something to look forward to.” Many other students could agree with Bitle, as the tension the day before the dance was audible throughout the halls.

“My personal favorite memory was us actually dancing and jumping around and having a good time,” Mackenzie Breunig, sophomore, states.

This year’s Back to School dance was overall a great experience and hopefully leaves a long lasting memory for students to look back on.
