Throughout the week of January 22 through the 26, Winter Fest visited Ripon High School! This means plenty of dress up days, including a competition was held, throughout the whole week. Who dressed up the most days and was spirited all week? Keep reading to find out!

ASB created the theme of Winter Fest as Disney Villains, which made this week very magical.

Monday was jungle themed in honor of Scar from the movie the lion king. If students didn’t have any of their safari gear at ready to wear on Monday, they could wear the color green for the Freshman class color.

When Tuesday came along, students pulled their best pirate outfits to resemble Captain Hook from Peter Pan. If not wearing your bandana and eye patch, students wore the color orange for the sophomore class.

Wednesday was a day to honor the Queen Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, which allowed students to come in their pajamas! Some students even planned to wear their blue pajamas to represent the junior class.

With Thursday, Ursula made a splash to Ripon High having students wear each attire, or the color yellow for our seniors.

Finally when Friday was here to end the final day of Winter Fest, the Queen of Hearts visited to help show some school spirit. Students wore the school colors of red and black, just like every Friday here at Ripon High!

With both four classes going head to head competing to who was the most spirited throughout the whole week, the spontaneous sophomores won! The sophomores gained the most points on Monday and Friday, helping them pull off this victorious win against the freshman, juniors and seniors.

Being spirited during dress up days is a wonderful way to be involved. Seeing everyone dressed up, having fun with the theme of the day is a fabulous way to show your creativity and school spirit. We encourage everyone to dress up during dress up days! Hope to see you wearing your red and black every Friday, along with participating in future dress up events!
