SteelSeries: Arctis 7x Gaming Headset

The SteelSeries Arctis 7x is a newly released headset that came out in January 2020. To be exact, it is a gaming headset that has many exciting features and next to no problems that I would like to be fixed.

Steelseries has many models for the Arctis series, and they all have many pros and cons. The Arctis 7x headset does come with a Bluetooth wireless option; all you have to do is charge the headset then continue to plug in the USB portable Bluetooth adapter (it is plugged into the pc or laptop straight, then you use the adapter to connect to the Bluetooth of the device) and your good to go. One con I would like to talk about is the Arctis 7x (this problem is also in the Arctis 7/7P) is the placement of the mute button on the back of the headset. A pro can be that you have the option of increasing your game volume while turning down your teammates’ volume and vice versa.

There are two downsides with this, one being that if you haven’t charged your headset yet or if it’s low, it could affect your gameplay by turning off mid-game, and the second problem being that you can not use the Bluetooth option on the console because consoles don’t have a Bluetooth option. What you can do is use the other wire and connect it straight to your controller; that way, you don’t have to charge your headset.

Overall this is an excellent headset. I would give it 4/5 stars, and that’s only because of the few flaws, in my opinion, can be fixed and most likely will be improved greatly in the future headsets.
