Xbox Elite Controller

Over the many years, video games and controllers have evolved. They have been advanced into better quality buttons, and the size of the controller and its feel have also changed. To this very day, there are many different types of controllers for various consoles (Playstation, Xbox, Nintendo, etc). This article will examine how Microsoft (also known as Xbox) has made new improvements and updates for the Elite Xbox Controller Series 2.

This controller is not similar to other controllers in numerous different ways- for example- this controller has paddles on its back, allowing the player to program them to utilize in the game. Though it seems like not that big of a difference, if you are playing a game like Valorant or Call of Duty (or any other first/third person game), it allows for more fluidity of movement. From my experience, the paddles also give you more room for control and direction.

Another feature about this controller that is not found in any other controller is its circular D-Pad. The D-Pad is a series of buttons on a controller on the controller’s lower part (for additional controllers, they can be located in different areas). The controller buttons are very responsive and comfortable to use. Suppose you wanted to use this controller for something other than a console, for example, a PC. In that case, this controller comes with a custom USB wireless connection adapter, connecting to a device. Overall this is an excellent quality controller, but with these qualities comes a price; the controller is worth $150 – $170 depending on where you buy it.
