Adriana Dorn, an athlete who truly stands out. Has officially committed to play volleyball at the division 1 level. Her journey–built on 7 years of discipline, grit and determination–has earned her a spot on the UOP volleyball team. On Thursday, November 13, 2025, this occasion was celebrated by old and new coaches, family and friends, and teammates.
From early mornings to late nights, Dorn worked hard for her club teams and her high school one. With those hours, she was bound to have great memories.
Adriana said, “[My] favorite memory was probably winning sections my junior year. That was such a surreal moment.”
University of the Pacific has a strong history of winning. The people around Adriana have full confidence in her.
Teammate junior Alayna Sprinkle stated, “I’ve always looked up to her because she’s such an amazing volleyball player and, like, person as well. Just being on the court with her at the same time is, like, such an amazing experience, I’ll really never forget.”
The people around Adriana believe in her and believe in the amazing things that she will achieve. The 2026 UOP volleyball team is in for a treat with Dorn. Ripon High couldn’t be more proud of this Ripon Indian. She’s the first person since Misty Swails, who was also a graduate from RHS, to go to UOP for Volleyball.
