On Jan. 21, 2026, Ripon High School Lady Indians showcased dominance in a recent home game against the Escalon High School Cougars securing a  definitive win when that left no doubt about their presence on the field. The match was eagerly awaited by fans and players alike highlighted lady Indian strategic play and superior teamwork. From the onset Ripon’s cohesive unit demonstrated their ability to control the pace and direction of the game, setting the stage for a great performance.

Freshman Claire Rietkerk commented “We moved the ball very well, and had a lot of fun!”

With the girls scoring quickly into the first half. This early Advantage field gave the lady Indians confidence enabling them to further assert their dominance. The Cougar’s struggled to find their rhythm as the Ripon’s defense to strong intercepting passes and clearing any threats with precision. The lady Indians continue to press, creating multiple scoring opportunities and keeping the presence of their opponents. 

Sophomore Sofia Cabello stated “Shoutout to the players who stepped up and helped out, they made a big impact.” 

 As the clock ticked down the lady Indians kept on scoring more goals, sealing their 6-0 victory. The final score reflected Ripon’s control and efficiency marking a significant triumph for the team. This victory not only adds another win to their record but also serves as a powerful statement of their capabilities as they move forward into the season.
