Aiden Tijero, a freshman, took 3rd place in Supercross on October 15. The race took place in Nevada at the San Boyd Stadium.
However, what is even more notable than his performance, is the opportunity he has been given to do what he loves.
“Monster Energy Cup is trying to contact me to sponsor me,” Tijero said. “It’s one of the biggest sponsorships I could get.”
Monster Energy Cup will regularly contact teenage athletes for inclusion into the Monster Army, their athlete development program, to represent the brand.
“I never expected anything like this to happen to me,” Tijero said.
Now that Tijero is getting support from Monster, he will gain more exposure and then receive more opportunities to ride.
“I’m very grateful for this opportunity,” Tijero said. “It’s definitely one of the best things to happen to me.”
