As your body cools down afterward, this can send a signal to your brain to go to sleep.” Your body temperature lowers when you’re asleep. Taking a shower or having a window open at night can be beneficial, preparing your body for sleep as it cools down.

It’s important to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep, especially when our bodies are still developing. Tweaking your nightly routine is a simple way to improve your overall health. Now stop stalling, and go get some sleep!
