The lights dim, the music stops, and the seniors cheer as the superlative reveal rally begins. The upperclassmen who will receive a superlative were revealed on Friday the fifth but instead of finding out the title each student will be given, the superlatives were kept a secret until Friday the twelfth.
Our Ripon High Yearbook program spent many hours coming up with each creative and fun superlative. There were many amazing titles but Miss Taylor says, “My favorite superlative was most likely to be on Love Island.” Our senior excitedly received their title along with an adorable poster made with their superlatives names.
Senior Superlatives have been a Ripon High tradition for many years because of the happiness it brings to our students during stressful times. These two rallies right before finals give students something to reminisce on in between tests and study sessions. When it comes to senior year Emme Wilbur says, “There’s a superlative out there for everyone, so it’s not that you didn’t get chosen, it’s that the position wasn’t presented.”
