Haven Gutierrez, Journalist
Haven Gutierrez is a Senior at Ripon High school. This is her fourth year in journalism, and she is excited to consistently improve her writing skills throughout the year. She believes that journalism is an excellent way to prepare for college and discover the necessary writing skills in order to succeed. As a part of journalism, the most exciting aspect is being able to gather behind the scenes information, and become aware as to what is happening in our community. This year, she plans to join the RHS tennis team for her third year. After highschool, her plans are to attend a four year university out-of-state and study either journalism or psychology.
